Timi Salako is the Creative Science Foundation’s Partnership Director for ‘Smart-Innovations‘, an online brainstorming platform aimed at supporting individuals and organisations with their creative thinking and innovation needs. Its initial focus is on, brainstorming, the core activity of any innovation process. As an online platform it provides a service that is more accessible, convenient and cost-effective than physical alternatives.

Timi is passionate about creativity and Innovation and how these can benefit education and business. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria (FUNAAB) and a master’s degree in Creative Software Systems from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom. His current research focuses on advancing solutions for Innovation Labs and Hubs developing the ‘Online Multi-Agency Creative Collaboration’ (OMAC) model of innovation. Timi currently lectures in FUNAAB, Nigeria and his research interests lay in the areas of Mixed, Augmented and Virtual Reality, Creative Science, Artificial Intelligence and HCI. He is also a self-taught artist managing Immerse Studios and is in collaboration with VIDA, a US based company that creates fashion and home decoration products.
